try taking back Gilllebrand's congressional seat now that she is going to the Senate to replace Hillary Rotten Clinton.  This used to be a Republican congressional seat until John Sweeney self-destructed in 2006.  The GOP next ran the hapless Sandy Treadwell and spent a fortune in losing.  They should try running a real Republican/Conservative.  They might also try taking back Vito Fossell's seat in Staten Island. However, since the GOP has such weak sell-out leadership they will probably blow that election also.  Their best chance of taking back the Staten Island seat will be in the next election since new winners, such as McLaughlin, are at their weakest in their second run.

Obama on Anniversary of Terrible Roe v. Wade Decision

states that "abortion is a private matter".  Hundreds of thousands of pro lifers gathered today in Washington D.C. to protest the Roe v. Wade decision (and accompanying Doe decision) which made legalized abortion - including through all nine months of pregnancy for any reason - the law of the land.  How does the new President feel about wife beating?  Slavery?  Those were "private matters" also.  That Zero could not even toss a crumb in the direction of the pro life side except for the usual cliches about wanting to bring down the "unwanted pregnancy rate" (unwanted by whom - by him?) speaks volumes about the character of a man born to a teen-aged mother.  One would think he would feel more compassion towards the least of us.  He doesn't and he won't.  He is merciless in the question of abortion.  He uttered the usual nonsense about "reproductive rights", blahblahblah, we know what he means:  he will do everything possible to push a pro abortion Planned Parenthood/NARAL agenda.  That the abortion industry inflicts such damage on the minority community does not seem to trouble him.  This is a man with little conscience.  To quote Jefferson, "I tremble for my country when I think that God is just".

Princess Caroline Drops Out!

There is a god!  Caroline has dropped the tiara and dropped out of her coronation.  And shame on the so called conservative pundits such as those who write for the New York Post and appear on Fox and were shilling for this non-entity.  What exactly were Caroline's achievements?  Apparently, going to the opera and ballet and raising money for New York City's spendthrift public schools.   If Caroline Kennnedy is really interested in public service, let her run for city council, a job which requires very little in New  York City, except  for mugging for the camera and pretending to look busy.  In the long run, democracy works - Caroline got the message and dropped out.  Let's hope that the unfunny comic known as Al Franken realizes that he had no right to steal an election and eventually fades away.  The United Staes Senate should not be reduced to being run by a bunch of oafs who could not acquire work in the private sector.  As for Andrew Cuomo, if he has any sense, he will stay as New York's Attorney General.  The Senate is no longer a place for serious people.

Zero already Throws the Jews under the Bus!

It didn't take long!  Words matter and the order of words matters. In Zero's inaugural address he mentioned "Christians, Moslems, Jews, Hindus and non-believers".  Hey, Zero:  it is the Judeo-Christian ethic, not the Judeo-Christian-Moslem ethic and that is for a good reason!  We don't run around the world chopping off heads and distributing the tapes as "conversion porn".  Attack the USA on 9/11 and get bumped up to "Christian, Moslem, Jewish . . . "  The order of those words was very reveealing.  Islam was put ahead of Judaism.  Try finding "common ground" with people who plainly say, "Convert or die" - or "Convert and die anyway".  As for Joseph Lowry's silly  benediction, he should have retired years ago.  He was disrespectful to President Bush at the funeral of Coretta King.  As for the crazies who booed Pres. Bush, VP Cheney and their wives, they are classy - not!  Typical libs.  Very sad.  I hope people send letters to Pres. Bush at his ranch thanking him for his service to our country and for being a class act - something about which O. knows very little.  By  non-believers", O. probably meant anybody who does not think that he walks on water.

Our National Nightmare has Begun

Yes, our national nightmare has begun for the next four years.  Obama has promised to do "outreach" to Moslem countries. I will translate that:  it means, "throw the Jews and Israel under the bus".   How about Moslem countries doing some outreach to us?  They could begin by not banning the Bible in their countries and not murdering people who convert out of Islam.  Moslems are allowed to visit the Vatican and Jerusalem but non-Moslems are forbiddin to enter Mecca and Medina.  Coptic Christians in Egypt are horribly oppressed.  In Pakistan, Christians have been kidnaped and murdered.  I could go on, but you get the idea.  Today is a sad day for America as a non-entity with few achievements has been sworn in as president together with his sidekick, the "dumbest guy in the Senate" as Mark Levin calls Biden, although I think that Barbara Boxer may be dumber.  Note to the GOP:  stop rolling over and start fighting back.  A large chunk of the public does not support these bailouts and will not support socialized medicine  And get in there and do not allow the bad comic known as Al Franken steal Norm Coleman's senate seat.  That there is so little outrage over this election theft speaks volumes about what is going on.

Governor Huckabee Smacks down Mario Cuomo

On Saturday's show, Governor Huckabee (on Fox) politely smacked down former Governor of New York Mario Cuomo.  Cuomo, a pro abortion Catholic, is one of those people who "does not know when life begins" and believes that if you have a "faith based point of view" it is incorrect and hence cannot be forced on other people.  Governor Huckabee reminded Cuomo that, Pres. Bush's comment that he had "religious based objections" to embryonic stem cell research  was actually an objection to public funding of said research and reminded Cuomo (who almost ended up on the Supreme Court under Pres. Clinton) that the 10 Commandments have such nifty orders such as "Thou shalt not murder" and that objecting to that commandment as a violation of the separation of church and state is just plain nonsense.  Cuomo insisted that he is a devout Catholic and pointed to his many years of marriage.  OK, Mario, we know that you would not have an abortion:  what about your neighbors?  What about your daughters or grandchildren?  And to think that thsi guy is considered an "intellectual".  He also stated that Roe v. Wade was a good decision!  What a lightweight this guy is.  He also displayed the Democrats talking points for the next three to four years - blame Bush for everything.

How will you Spend Inauguration Day?

I will be ignoring it.  I see nothing good coming out of the election of Barack Hussein Obama, a man almost as inexperienced as future New York Senator Caroline Kennedy.  The people who think we are racists will continue to call us racists.  Obama is weak on national security and will spend us into oblivion.  He will be the most pro abortion president in the history of the United States, even more so than Bill Clinton (and Clinton was really  bad on this issue, having twice vetoed the ban on partial birth abortion).  He will project weakness to Islamofascist regimes.  His supporters are gloating.  They will try to shut down Rush Limbaugh and other dissenters. I just hope that tomorrow Rush will find something witty to say because I will be in a very bad mood.  Go, Rush!  And pray that Harry Reid loses his election in 2010 - it could happen, as it did to Tom Daschle!

New York GOP - RIP

They are finished - and we can thank the RINOs in New York State for that one. I point to the terrible defeat of John Faso when he ran against former attorney general Eliot ("I like call girls and I hate pro lifers") Spitzer - obviously many RINO supported Spitzer to account for that kind of landslide; the fact that we are down to one elected Republican in Queens County; and now, I have read that former Mayor Giuliani supports Mike  ("I am the Emperor") Bloomberg for his third run as mayor of NYC!  Bloomberg  was a very liberal emocrat who ran as a Republican by buying off the moribund GOP; then switched to a very liberal Independent; and now may want to come home!  He also passed a law abrogating the referendum on term limits because, in his bloated egotistical miind, "The people need me"!  There is also a rumor that Rick Lazio, who ran a poor campaign against Hillary Rotten Clinton, is interested in runnin for  governor.  Rick has been out of the public eye for years. I like him, but after he lost  to Clinton, his seat in congress when to a Democrat and has remained a Democratic seat.  Put a fork in the NY State/City GOP.  You can also blame the RINOs who call themselves "liberatarians"  when, in fact, they are liberals who hate social conservatives and take every opportunity to belittle us - while expecting our votes.  They won't get them.  I am  writing as somebody who took part in the McCain march on  the upperwestside  (posted on Drudge) where everything but the kitchen sink was thrown at us so I put my money where my mouth is.

My Heroine - Pam Geller from Atlas Shrugs!

My heroines/heroes in alerting the world to the threat of Islamofascism are Pamela Geller, Robert Spencer, Julia Gorin and Mark Steyn.  They have been resolute in the face of threats and intimidation.  Kudos to Pam and Robert for writing about the hateful pro Hamas demonstrators who shout "Jews to the Oven" and "Long Live Hitler".  I am sad that Charles Johnson, the creator of Little Green Footballs, does not recognize the greatness of Spencer and Geller and is feuding with them over nonsense.  Johnson has done some great stuff especially regarding the dummied up photos of the Israel/Lebanon war that were shown by the terrorist sympathizers of Reuters (a "news" service that refuses to use the word "terrorist" - they like "militant" instead) but when he attacks people who believe in Creationism and devout Christians, he loses me.  Charles, call home!

30 Rock is NOT the Best Comedy

I was annoyed that 30 Rock starring the obnoxious Alec Baldwin (or "Brokeback Baldwin" as Mark Levin calls himi)  and the offensive Tina Fey won the Golden Globe for best comecy.  The Office is a far funnier and wittier show.  I could not stand Fey's "impersonation" of Governor Palin and Baldwin has been famous for years for taking pot shots at conservaties and yes, working class people! (Baldwin to Sean Hannity:  "Go back to doing construction work"!)  I am convinced that 30 Rock won because the voters were predominantly liberal and wanted to reward their soldiers.  I refuse to see Revolutionary Road or whatever the Kate Winslet movie is called.  There were some good things in the 1950's and knocking that period has become one big Hollywood cliche.  I also refuse to see the Sean Penn film Milk after the bullying that is going on in California over Proposition 8.  Be carefuly how you spend your money - you may be helping a liberal or radical cause!  I also have the sneaking suspicion that a whole bunch of pro terrorist films will come out soon notwithstanding that they bomb at the box office. (no pun intended)

Obama Will Leave us Unsafe

There is a rumor that B. Hussein Obama will visit a Moslem country soon after his inauguration (remind me to skip it!) and that this country will be Syria.  This would send a terrible message.  The Syrians are allied with Iran.  In addition to murdering Israelis, they are behind several assassinations in Lebanon and have also killed American citizens.  Obama also talks of closing Guantanamo.  Perhaps he would like these assassins sent to Washington D.C. near his children's school.  Not in My Backyard!  These are terrorists who have been captured by our special forces.  In other era, many of them would have been put against a wall and shot.  Instead, they are given three meals a day and prayer rugs in Guantanamo.  If they are taken to the USA, there is the risk of American citizens being held hostage in order to force their release.  We will not be safer under Obama - in fact, I suspect that we will be in grave danger with one Eric Holder and his flunkies in the Justice Department.  This is Eric "no rough stuff" Holder except when a little Cuban boy named Elian Gonzalez was involved.

Why are the Police Looking the other Way at pro Terrorist Demonstrations?

Yes, I will call them pro terrorist demonstrators because that is what they are! I am talking about the pro Hamas demonstrations in which children are draped in Hams chic gear and are given anti-Semitic signs with swastikas imposed over Stars of David, a vile desecration.  People are chanting pro Hitler slogans and yet the police are looking the other way.  Synagogues in the USA have been attacked and future suicide bombers are being developed in our midst.  I hope the FBI is watching these loons and their lefty pals.  I fear that this generation of Moslem kids may be lost if this is how they are being raised:   to hate and not to think for themselves.  The other day, several kids who were given the names "Hitler" and "Aryan Nation" were removed from the parents in New Jersey yet I hear of no action against the parents who give their kids this hateful, dangerous signs.  As for Bianca Jagger and Annie Lenox in London, who attended the London anti-Semitic hate fest with their pal, George Galloway, they are complicit in this anti-Semitic, anti-USA rage.

Stop the Obama Abortion agenda!

Obama promised Planned Parenthood that he would sign the Freedom of Choice Act.  My child donated blood yesterday and I had to sign several permission slips for him.  Under the Freedom of Choice Act, all parental rights regarding abortions would be abrogated; there would be a return to partial birth abortion; hospital personnel - including in Catholic hospitals - would be forced to perform abortions.  I have no doubt that there will be an increase in abortions in the USA under the Obama presidency.  Is this the "change" that people voted for?  Obama, as a state legislator, opposed the "Born Alive Infants Act" which would have required basic treatment be given to babies who survive abortions.  He even called nurse Jill Stanek, who witnessed a Downs Syndrome baby being left to die in a utility closet, a "liar".  He does not know when "life begins . . . because it is above his pay grade."  In other words, he never met the abortion that he would try to prevent and has stated that he would not want his daughters "punished with a baby" if they were to become pregnant!  Strange words from a man born to a teenaged mother!  He has surrounded himself with attorneys who have worked for Emily's List and NARAL.  We are really in for it and it does not look too good for the kids!  People fight back and get out the word that, on the life question, Obama is an absolute radical.
